5 minutes a day for your Wellbeing.

One of the hardest things we can do is find time for ourselves in our day. Life can feel incredibly busy with work, family, relationships plus we can be layered by our own feelings of guilt and selfishness around doing things for ourselves. So how do we implement change when it feels overwhelming? Start small.

You will find plenty of information online about the importance of starting with small steps to help us not get burdened and overwhelmed with all the things!

If implementing daily self care is something you are struggling with, start with 5 minutes a day. Yep, 5 minutes. 5 minutes to do some stretches, journal, meditate, ring a friend, listen to some music or a podcast, go outside for some fresh air, walk around, breathwork, lie down for a rest, do some push ups.

5 minutes is a wonderful start to get some steady habits in place to start taking care of yourself.

It could be in the morning before you start your day, and in fact, I would highly recommend this. Don’t reach for the phone, wake up take some deep breaths, go outside if you can and put your feet on the grass and ground yourself, get some daylight on your face and create some intentions for the day ahead. It doesn’t have to be big full on stuff! Your intention might just be I am going to schedule in 5 minutes for a coffee and journaling today and pop it in your diary. If this doesn’t sound like your thing then have a go at the question below.
