Your Sunday morning ritual
Sunday Practice is a welcoming yoga class that brings together mindful movement and steady breathing to support both body and mind. Each class is designed to support healthy movement, improve balance, deepen your connection with your breath, and create space to simply be present.
Rather than striving for the "perfect" pose, we'll focus on moving with awareness, listening to our bodies, and allowing the breath to guide the practice. Every body is different, and you'll always be encouraged to adapt the practice to suit your own body and experience.
Whether you're looking to maintain a regular yoga practice, reconnect after some time away, or simply enjoy moving in a supportive environment, you'll be welcomed just as you are.
What you can expect
These classes are offered as part of my yoga teacher training. It is a supportive space to ease into yoga whether you are starting out or have a regular practice
A steady, grounded yoga practice guided by the breath
Opportunities to improve balance, flexibility, and body awareness
Time to slow down and reconnect with yourself
Options and modifications to support different bodies and abilities - allowing the pose to meet the body, not forcing the body to meet the pose!
Both active and passive stretching to improve flexibility and support healthy movement
A relaxed and welcoming space where you can move at your own pace
Each class offers an opportunity to breathe, move, and connect with yourself through mindful movement and awareness.
What Do I Need to Bring?
Wear some warm clothing (layers work well) , a cushion, blanket and your yoga mat (there are a couple of spare ones at the hall) plus a drink bottle with water and a koha for each session for the use of the hall. If you also happen to have yoga blocks bring those too, but don’t worry if you don’t have those.
There is no pressure here. No expectation to get it right, keep up, or do anything perfectly.
You’re invited to explore, move gently, take breaks, laugh if you need to, and simply see how it feels.
